Win 2000 a mistake?

I finally got my copy of Windows 2000 and got it installed at home. I love it! Everything went so well and the computer is booking now! Even my online is working better and faster. Problem though. My kids games aren’t working at all. Simple stuff like Babyz won’t come up at all (although they installed). Did I just fix the home computer where no one can use it? Is there anything I can do to make programs work? HELP! My daughter is going to kill me!
