Win 2000 and DSL

By askhenry ·
I am looking for some assistance -
I've searched all the built-in help, and Microsoft's online help, and I cannot find out how to use Internet Connection Sharing with Win2000 and a DSL connection - (one Win2000 computer with a DSL connection and several others connected to it peer to peer)-
Is this a possible use of ICS?
How do I configure ICS when the Wizard doesn't include DSL as a choice?
Many thanks -

You can use ICS

1 - just get your W2K connected using your DSL connection, following the docs you got from your DSL ISP.
2 - setup ICS and just tell your W2K box to use it's existing connection.

However, I still recommend not using ICS, but getting one of thosecool broadband routers (LinkSys, Asante, etc.), with firewall capabilities, etc. Then I don't have to be running my W2K box just so my kids can search Groskster or play NeoPets from their W98 boxes.
