Win 2000 and Nt40 Domain Name problem

by tetteh.sigismund . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

We were in the process of replacing an NT40 server with a Win2K Server. We matched all the settings on the old Server(NT40, however the Domain name posed a problem. The current Domain name is wrmx and we loaded AD on the Win2K Server and called thathcbe.net. Now when both servers are running, all the clients are able to browse the network, however if we turn off the NT40 box, the clients cannot access the WIN2k box. What are we suppesed to do for the clients to talk to my Win 2K box if the NT40 is turned off.
