My question has two parts.
First, I was set up as a dual boot with Win ME and 2000 prof. I had a HP cd writer set up in ME. Tired of wasting disk space I formatted and got rid of ME.I am now having problems with 2000 when I try to shut down, restart or put it into standby. I have narrowed it to the burner because when I uninstall the there is no problem. What happens is it shuts windows down but the power stays on and the screen hangs at a blinking cursor.
Part 2.
I have a second hard drive that was recognized in ME but is not seen in 2000.
