Win. 2000 Core Requirements Virtual lab

anyone know or have heard anything about the Sybex windows 2000 core requirements virtual lab ?? i want to know if it is a good substitute for a network envirnment( i know a true network is the best to practice, but i cant afford it and i only have access to one PC). i want to know if it is good or worth the money.
