Win 2000 sharing

By MrUnderhill ·
8 workstations on a LAN. (All Win 2000)
1 has 2 shares setup, the other 7 map to
these shares.

The following occurs after mapping 'the computer cannot accept any more connections'.

I have checked the sharing permissions

Any ideas?

Ten is the maximum number of other computers that are permitted to simultaneously connect over the network to Windows NT Workstation 3.5, 3.51, 4.0, Windows 2000 Professional, and Windows XP Professional.

The only solution is to split up your shares to different machines, or upgrade to Server.
