Win 2K Pro will not boot

well, this is a Win 2K Pro PC and it will hang at”Verifying DMI Pool Data” will not boot, will not get to the point to hit F8, will not boot with a 4 disc boot set to repair, will not load a new install. any help? I’ll give 400 points if any goodanswer works!
