I?ve got a win2k box that is giving me fits. It started slowly, it would reboot on my kids occasionally when they were playing a game (3d or sim type). Now I cant even burn a CD
What I’m running:
650 Athlon slot A
Gigabyte Mobo
326 MB ramV3 3000 Vid card
New 300 W power supply
20GB drive
TDK 12x burner
48x cd drive
SB live
I?ve changed to a Gforce II mx vid card, it seemed to get worse. Pulled the original
Power supply and replaced it (300W) I have pulled each DIMM at a time to check the ram. Reinstalled OS, It also restarts(reboots) when I try to Burn a CD or after heavy browsing. All my fans seem to be functioning normally, and I’ve checked the voltages in BIOS they seems steady.
Im looking at CPU or Mobo now. Any ideas would be helpful.
