Win 95 drive mapping problem

While attached to our network, one of my laptop users (Windows 95) automatically maps to a network folder on boot up.

When away from the network, the auto mapping fails of course and displays a dialog box allowing her to state: connect next time.

However, her computer (Compaq ) does not accept this command and continually pops up the same dialog box every few minutes which is very annoying.

Is there a work-around for this?
