I have just installed ADSL service at home, I have 3 desktop machines connected to the modem/router which has a fixed ip address and DHCP, 2 machines are working fine and one has problems, the problem machine has a dual operating system Win 98SE and win 2000 P, I can not connect under win 98 OS and when I run ipconfig it gives ip 0.0.0.0 and gateway 0.0.0.0 I tried to give the machine a fixed ip adress but ipconfig still gives the same result. The problem is not in the NIC or router. The same machine works fine under win 2000, I also changed the NIC with another machine. One of the other machines is also running Win 98SE with no problems with both NICs. I removed TCP/IP and reinstalled it but I still have the same problem. Any help is apreciated Thanx in advance
