Win 98 Cannot Access Win 2k Shares

Running a peer-to-peer network with Win2K Pro machine as the “server.” All worked fine for a while. All of a sudden “server” rebooted itself and in the process kicked off some of the users connected to it. Now one of the computers (running Win 98first edition) can see the “server” in network neighborhood but can not view any of the shares. When trying to access it it gets a message saying “device is not available on the network.”

I’ve tried re-entering the password on the server; addinga new username and password on the server and using that info on the 98 machine, deleting all of the password lists from 98 and then re-logging on–nothing works.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
