I have recently setup a new Win2K Advanced Server in the process of migrating to a better machine. We already have Win2K Advanced Server running on our network and no particaulr issues there.
The new server is a new domain altogether. Win XP machines can login as desired but Win 9X (Win98 SE) can not login. It can find the domain because if I miss spell the domain name it errors to domain not found however with the correct domain name it goves error to the effect that either the login name or password is incoreect or that access to the server was denied.
We have had other domains (servers) on the same network in the past and had no problems. I just can not figure out why I am having this behaviour.
Anyone can point me in the right direction.
I did install Active Directory and it seems to be working fine. But we have Active Directory instlaled on the old server too.
