We are currently experiencing an issue with Windows 98 and Windows XP floppy disks. When a student works on a Windows 98 station, they can access the disk with no problems. Once they take it to a Windows XP station, it will not open on the station and it asks to be formatted. If the student then goes back to the Win 98 station, it opens with no problems. I have researched this issue but I have been unable to find any articles on this issue. I know that this is a known issue with Windows 98 and Windows XP. At this time, I am looking for helping finding documentation on this issue.
