WIN 98 DUN will not remember password

Had to reload WIN98SE. Created my new Dialup for a 56k modem and even though I select save password it always comes up blank next time. My “primary network logon” in CONTROL PANEL NETWORK is “Client for Microsoft Networks”. My objective is to make my logon one click. I can’t turn off “prompt for information” option in DUN settings until I can have the password saved.

What do I do to have my DUN save my password?
