I have two PCs that have a similar problem. On shut down, they both crash with fatal exception 0D at 029F:00002480. The only thing that works at this point is powering off the PC.
One of the PCs started this after ver 3.2 of Novel client was installed.
The other one started after a piece of software that did not work on the PC was uninstalled.
I haven’t been able to find any information that helps in Microsoft’s knowledge database.
