How could i disable the log on on windows 98 se?

Find and delete any files ending in .pwl; restart; when the logon box comes up, don't enter anything, just click OK (NOT cancel); restart. Voil?, no log on.

if no joy with above, double-check network logon setting in Network properties. should be Windows logon...that setting with blank password bypasses logon screen

With some networking components installed, the simple process of typing in your user name and NO password will not work.

What you need is TweakUI.

This is unsupported software from Microsoft.

One of the options is to automatically log on at startup.
