WIN 98 NETWORK PROBLEM

I have small win2k domain. I have win2kpro and win xp. the win98 can access the win2k server and other pcs but can not access xp client. also xp pc can not access win98. I can ping from both using pc names. have dhcp enabled on router and server hasdns active directry. please help thanks all

Hi,

XP by default have blocked most of the sharing enable functions, thus you have to enable a certain level of sharing to be available to the other stations.

In order to access shares on the XP machine you will need to set up user accounts on that machine. But since out of 143 questions you've asked you've had 25% of them auto-closed due to ratings inactivity you'll probably never read this.
