When I click View/Explorer Bar/Folders and then click Tools/Folder Options/View/Apply to all folders, it works until I reboot and then I have to repeat the process. How do I make it stick?

if it is any comfort, i have seen this problem in passing. sorry, have not yet been able to test a solution but in addition to folder view settings i uncheck box that says 'retain each folders own view' or whatever. then i click button to say, 'make all folders view like this one' then apply and ok (already). if you have tried all that and no joy, see about repairing ie or look up symptoms in mskb at support.microsoft.com and be ready for points when i post this question when somebody paying me to fix (smile).
