We have 2 Windows 2000 print servers on a TCP/IP network with a few hundred Lexmark and HP network printers. The servers provide drivers for clients using Windows 95, NT4 and Win 2000.
The Windows 95 users are mostly stable. But, the Windows NTprinter drivers seem to revert back to default settings causing unnecessary work to input the tray, hard drive, duplexer and envelope feeder settings repeatedly. We have not found any info at the Microsoft site (and elsewhere) concerning this issue.
Anyone else have this experience and a solution?
