    Win NT Webserver.

    Locked

We have a windows NT Webserver in our facilities that is connected to a local ISP through a 64kb leased line (Dedicated line) through a CISCO 1601 router. We also have wingate as a proxy server loaded on the NT. We have trouble opening some internetsites and the message we get is Socket error Host unreachable though we were able to connect to those same sites previously. On a dialup line we can connect perfectly to those sites with the same ISP. We don’t seem to have any problem in our Webserver and we suspect the problem to be with our ISP. We contacted our ISP but to no avail.

    What could the problem be?

The problem is defintely Wingate. I have seen the same problem only occur after I installed Wingate. I no longer use Wingate and don’t really know what the problem is. I do know that it is caused by Wingate though.
