Win XP common dialog problem

My Win XP Pro computer has set itself so that the default ‘arrange icons by’ order in its Common Dialog boxes is ‘date modified’. I can’t find a way of permanently changing the order back to ‘file name’. Is there a registry setting or option somewhere I can use to change this?
