Win XP Deny “Delete” Permission winthout deny the save

I tried to deny the users the permission to “delete” files but I’d like to allow them to save…When I remove the “delete” permission (or the “delete subfolders and files” permission) they can’t delete as I wish but they also cannot save…Any ideas?
