Just rebuilt a new system
AMD 64 3200+ / 1GB Twinmos Twister DDR400
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
Gecube Radeon 9800XT 256DDR
and loaded
a fresh copy of Win XP (Home) SP2 OEM
PC is completely fresh now only loaded with
XP SP2
ATI control panel
HP 1200 printer consol
Problems:
On boot up, all is fine till Desktop
once the desktop screen is reached, there is no
network detected or rather it spends 5 min detecting it. Until such time, I cannot access “my computer” to see network connections or drives on my PC.
After 5min, network is detected and can see it in the taskbar and connect to the internet as well as access “my computer”
Another strange thing is under device manager it keeps detecting 2 video cards as 9800XT & 9800XT(2)
i cannot remove either of them as it simply redetects them again on bootup.
Anybody can offer any help?
