Please help me out I am facing a problem while installing win XP. The following error is displayed while formatting the disk.
setup was unable to format drive c:the hard disk may be damaged

I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO INTALL WIN 98 ON THE SAME SYSTEM BUT WHILE INSTALLING WIN XP AS FRESH INSTALLATION, UPGRADING 98 TO XP IT IS SHOWING THE ABOVE ERROR
