Win XP network settings

Hello, I have 2 Windows XP workstations connected to a hub,from worstation 1 in my network places I can see workstation 1&2, but when I try to access workstation 2 it tells me that the network path was not found??? what does this means??
it also says that I might not have enough privillage to access that resorce!
I’m sharing the HDD on both workstations.
Now on workstation 2, I can only see workstation 2, and not workstation 1???
it is supposed to show both workstation 1&2,rigth? Pleasehelp!
what am I missing ?
