I am trying to install Win XP on a Gigabyte 6BXE motherboard with a PIII 650. It copies all the files then reboots the system. When it restarts just before the setup it cuts off my CPU fan, so the fan alarm goes off.
I have tried all sorts of settings in the BIOS, upgrading and downgrading the BIOS but nothing works. It does this if I load Win 2000 also. Every thing else 95, 98, ME work fine.
Giga-byte r not helping and I’m ……
