win xp pro as print server

i tried to use win xp pro as a print server and the clients are all win xp pro too. the problem is that when there are more than 5 connected to the print server, some of the other print jobs were either loss or there will be connection problem. and the lan in a domain. is using win xp pro as a print server the problem or is there something else.
