I am having a problem with Outlook 2002 (stand alone application not part of an exchange environment) and how it handles email. Outlook will download several copies of the same email even after it is read. The designation to save the email on the server is unchecked. It appears almost like a ‘trigger’ that tells the server (AT&T Broadband) that the file is downloaded is not being sent. AT&T & Microsoft have been no help in the resolution. Outlook 2002 resides on Win XP pro and a Dell 8200 machine. Any ideas.
