after a recent Live OneCare update my PC reverts to login page after short period of inactivity. It did not do this before update. (I don’t mind feature and think I could actually change it in the control panel) My question is; is this a normal occcurance after a windows and/or OneCare update?
Prior to update, I was having problems with OneCare starting. During troubleshoot of OneCare at MS site, I downloaded the repair.ini file. In order to get OneCare to work I had to “enable terminal services” (manual setting). Afterwards, OneCare does start now, and I have done a full system scan with no errors or problems, everything shows clean and green. I then set terminal services to disable, but again had issues with OneCare not starting under that setup.
I realize “terminal services” is a secutity opening, and my question is how big a risk am I under with the “enable/manual setting”.?
Thanks
William
