I hope someone can help me out here. I just did a fresh install of XP Pro Retail. Brand new HD, 80GB Seagate. Everything is fine and all is well until… Here’s where the problem occurs.
Right after I enter Location, Computer name, Workgroup, etc, the computer restarts as it should. I get the XP splash screen, with the blue loading bar. This is where it get’s funny. I see this splash screen for maybe 1-2 sec and then it disappears and I get no response from the system. No Blue screen with error codes or anything.
Anyone ever run into this problem or possibly have some suggestions?
