When you add users to a global group by using Active Directory Users and Computers, you may receive the following error message:"Object picker cannot open because no locations from which to choose objects could be found."

To resolve this behavior:

1. Start the Computer Management Microsoft Management Console (MMC).
2. Click to expand Services And Applications, and then click Services.
3. Set the Startup type of the Remote Registry service to Automatic, and then start the service.
