win2000 server backup software

ok, its seems strong, very much like Veritas software.

I have some dumb questions (easy points).
please answer all questions to acquire points!!!!

How do I :

a. Check tape for what is actually on it. My media names never match up to what is on the tape.

b. Restore / check data on a tape if the media is not already present in the Backup Software?? seems lame if I can’t.

c. direct me to the best resource for this kind of information, microsoft site doens’t help much at all and haven’t found anything else.
