Win2000 Shutdown Corrupts Registry

by pdindak . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

If I let ACPI shutdown Win2000 Pro SP1, Sometimes when I boot back up the SYSTEM file is corrupted. I have read somewhere that there is a fix for the ACPI shutting power before windows writes all it’s files out – this is the reason for the error?
What patch to load or reg to hack to fix this. I’m currently restarting the machine and killing the power when it boots up again. YUK
