Win2k as Gateway for LAN

On my stand-alone Win2k Server i have configured 2 NIC. First NIC is connected to LAN & second is connected directly to Cisco Router ( with cross-over cable).

Now i want this server to act as router for other machines on LAN. for all clients on LAN i’ll give the gateway as the IP address of First NIC of this server.

On my first NIC i have given private IP & on gateway i have given IP of second NIC.

on my second NIC i have given REAL IP ADDRESS & gateway is the IP address of ETH Interface of Router.

how should i assign IP adddress for such scenario & how do i make packets comming to first NIC to go through second NIC & reach internet.
