Win2K can’t see CD-RW or DVD player

Hello !

After un-installing the “Easy CD Creator” software, and booting up I noticed that neither the DVD player nor the CD-RW drives show up in the Windows Explorer.
I tried removing and re-installing the related entries which appear in the DEVICE MANAGER, but get the following message every time:

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

This happens after I let Win2K automatically detect the devices, and their respective drivers.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
