We've just failed to restore a 7Gb backup file using Win2k's restore wizard. It reports a corrupt backup file. Ths is a serious problem, as you can imagine. Zip-recovery utility Zipfix failed (on a copy). I've seen internet references to this as acommon problem, but no solutions. Can anybody help?

No solutions for your present problem. For future use consider a tape drive with a good backup application, there is a good reason for the verify function.
