Win2k hangs during installation

when i try to install win2k on a separate hdd on a pentium 233mmx,80 mb edo ram w/ s3 trio64v+ video card and a 3dfx vodoo2 add on card, win2k loads the necessary drivers into memory and displays a blank screen when its time to start win2k.
