Last year I ran across an article explaining that Win 95 (poss 98 & 2000) creates a hidden file of all of the pathenames of places visited on the internet and that this file can get very large and could be deleted by changing attributes, then it’s name, creating a new file with 0 bytes and then deleting the original. I wish I would have saved the article now because when I checked, sure enough, there it was! I’m not talking the History files OR the temporary internet files directories here. This was a hidden file that I believe rested in the root directory. I can’t recall the exact file name OR the exact process to remove it. Can anyone out there help? Thanks!
