My building recently got a small lab of Win2K PRO machines. We don’t have a Domain/Active Directory system in place, but I’d like to apply a local security policy on each PC based on each user (i.e. an Admin logs on and gets everything, a CAD person gets access to CAD (but not too Control Panel), a Student gets only IE and no other security info, etc…)
Is there a way to build such a policy that will only affect certain local users on that machine? I plan on having 4 different types of users, so I would need this scenario multiplied by the # of users. And of course it would be nice to export this/these policies so that I don’t have to go to every machine and repeat that task over.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
