I am setting up a Win2K network (server and pro). I intend (probably) to use a linux router/firewall, bridging the DSL and our office network, all on public IP’s. I have plenty of 56k modems, and I want to set up a system so that travelling members of staff can either dial-in, or connect (by VPN???) across the internet.
I think that this shouldn’t be hard to set up. My real problem is as follows:
I want a user to be able to dialup and log in, and be able to send email using our server. They often send multi-megabyte attachments, and downloading, and then re-uploading these could take forever. Is it simple to set up a system so that you can attach a remote file?
