Win2k + Office 97 Spell Check Problem

Hi,
I have installed Windows 2000 Pro and am running Office 97 SR2b.
I have an Administrator account for myself and a User account for my public users. When I log onto the computer as Public, and I run Word, Spell Check is unavailable. Could someone please tell me how to fix this. (btw, when I am logged on as Administrator spell check works fine) Thanks
