I've added a new Intel processor in a Compaq Proliant server. Bios has accepted both processors, but when i changed driver from 1 uniprocessor-driver to a compaq-multiprocessor driver in Win2k, everything hangs after restart. So, anyone know how I can change a processor-driver without reinstalling Win2k?

Microsoft has an article on TechNet (Q252326) with some things to look for (e.g. APCI enabled and set to Full Table Mapped or Full Table) and also has a link to the Compaq site for the software (but it sounds like you already have that).
You should be able to save the existing data, but I have sometimes had to do a parallel installation to get around the hanging on restart (you basically do a fresh install into a new directory and then copy the multi-processor DLLs from the new system directory into the old one).
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
