This morning I have received a laptop with WIN2K and 2 NTFS partitions. There is something wrong with the filing system, after the progress bar on boot it reboots again and again and so on. I ran scan disk and all that crap – no luck, tried using ntfs dos, the volumes are blank, but when you ntfschkdsk it goes through files.
I does the same for all the recovery options (safe mode and the rest of them)
I am about to run the repair off the installation cd.
Anyone?
