Win2K RAS server: disconnecting users

By tchieng ·
Where in Windows 2000 Server can I define or tell the server to disconnect an incoming phone line after a certain number of minutes of being idle?

I have a server setup for RAS and it will leave the user connected 24/7 if the user doesn't disconnect, even if he/she is idle and not using the connection.

Thanks.

On your RRAS server bring up the RRAS management console

Select remote access policies

Select edit profile

Select the disconnect if idle for box

Enter the appropriate number of minutes

APply the policy change
