Win2k reboot using OnStream backup

by jaromir.kosar . Updated 24 years, 4 months ago

I am using a 30GB OnStream tape drive to backup machines on my network. Every time I have tried the tape backup, the Win2k machine which hosts the tape drive spontaneously reboots. When I check the System log I get the following message:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0x00000008, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini051402-01.dmp.

The dmp file is greek to me, but then so is the hex code above. Any ideas on what could be causing this? I performed the tape abckup on the local machine without a hitch (ok, well the compare section had a problem which i think may be a driver issue with the OnStream on Win2k, its always been a little flaky)
