Win2K Task Scheduler Stops Working

I have a bat file that starts the PCAnywere host service (sometimes it stops by itself). It is scheduled to run daily every hour (using advance properties) for 24 hours. This should mean that it will run forever every hour. Normally, it will return error 2 (service already started). However,The last log entry was after a day and it said it had started but I never got one saying it stopped and there is nothing afterware.
