there are two kinds of windows XP. XP Home doesnt have the network support and cannot join in the domain. If that is the case, what you need is XP Professional.

Hi,

Do you have the required privileges to add a computer into the domain? You may need to pre-create a computer account in the domain before you attempt to join it.

Cheers,
Tim.

Tell us what you have tried so far so we can tell you if you've done anything wrong. failure to connect could be caused by any number of issues from software misconfiguration to hardware failure.
