I have a client who has an old pentium Dell running Win95 that they use to share two printers (they have an extra Parallel card in the box). The rest of the LAN is made up of Win2K machines that print to the Win95 print server. Problem is that some of the Win2K machines are printing garbage on the first page followed by the correct output – which causes issues when printing QuickBooks checks! Question: How do you load the Win2K printer driver (an HP LaserJet 4000 PCL 6) to support the Win95print server? Should I uninstall and reinstall the printer software on the Win2k machines or the Win95 box – or both?
Any ideas would be appreciated!
