Win95-Disable Windows explorer buttons

I need to Disable - "Map a Network drive" radio button on the windows explorer window.

2. I need to hide "Network neighborhood" and "My Computer" icon on the desktop of a Win95 machine

Any suggestions?

I will need to do some research for question #1.

For question #2:

Download and install HideIt (74 kb).
Configure HideIt to hide Program Manager. This will hide all desktop icons, yet keep the Taskbar intact.

Load up the System PolicyEditor (poledit.exe) on your Windows95 CD-ROM.
In build 347, it's in the Mig_kit\Admin95\Apptools\Poledit folder.
In build 490 (and later), it's in the Admin\Apptools\Poledit folder.
If you are asked to "Open a Template File," choose admin.admin the same folder, and click OK.
Select Open Registry from the File menu.
Double-click on the Local User icon.
Open Local_User\ Shell\ Restrictions.
Check Hide all items on the desktop.
Click OK, and select Save from the File menu.
Click on the desktop, and press F5 to refresh the desktop so that this change will take effect. Good luck.
