Win98 Client Login Funky

I have a Win98 client that is taking 2-3-4 hits to the enter key to finally login to my domain. I don’t re-type the password or anything, I just keep hitting enter to make the “no domain controller” msg go away and then suddenly my login script runs and everything is fine with the client???? Any ideas???
